Goldco Bonus Silver (2026): How the Offer Works and What to Ask

By Mark Sandulli · Founder & editor · Updated October 21, 2026 · Not financial advice

Short answer: Goldco doesn’t advertise a fee waiver. Instead it offers bonus silver on qualifying orders of its own premium coins: up to 5% on purchases of $50,000 to $99,999, and 10% on $100,000 or more. Goldco scores 6.0 in our rankings, with a $25,000 minimum and fees it doesn’t post online.

The offer

Purchase of Goldco premium coinsBonus silverValue at the stated rate
$50,000 to $99,999Up to 5%Up to $2,500–$5,000
$100,000 or more10%$10,000 on $100,000

Goldco says the offer applies only to qualified orders, can’t be combined with other offers and may have additional rules. Ask your representative whether your order qualifies and how many ounces of silver you’d actually receive.

Don’t move more money than you planned just to reach a tier. If you’re already moving a large amount, the questions below help you check whether the bonus is real.

The catch

The bonus applies to Goldco’s “premium coins,” not to plain bullion. Premium and proof coins usually carry a much higher markup over spot than standard bullion coins and bars. A 10% bonus on coins marked up 10% more than bullion gets you nothing. Ask for the price over spot on everything you’d buy, and on the bonus silver, in writing, and compare it with another company’s quote for plain bullion. Gold IRA fees explained →

Goldco’s fees

Goldco doesn’t publish its fees. Independent reviewers report about $500 in the first year and about $225 a year after with shared storage. Ask whether any fees are waived as well.

Questions to ask Goldco

  1. Does my order qualify, and exactly how much bonus silver would I get?
  2. What is the price over spot on the coins I’d buy, and on the bonus silver?
  3. What would the same amount of plain bullion cost, with no bonus?
  4. Are any account fees waived?
  5. How would you price my metal if I sell it back?
